Artisan Cutwork Kantha Vest Coat Handmade are exceptional in so many ways. Each vest is made with new KHAMBADIYA kantha quilt fabric. Kantha fabric is then hand stitched. Patchwork pieces are then arranged, plus cutwork and suzani pieces placed and arranged to create intended patterns. Round neck with front bands  run the length of the garment. Bands are trimmed and finished. Vests are designed as open and secured with a coordinated sash. This vest has colorful patchwork running down each front panel. Back panel is fully patched with colorful pieces, a second layer of cutwork is centrally placed forming a dominate pattern. Flattering cut that emphasizes the figure, worn with or without the belt.  

Each piece is hand embroidered and stitched in very small batches. The extensive labor required to create designs from colored pieces of cloth is an art.
